THE STORY
The Promise

The Test
Once, he sold a caravan of dates but later found a hidden flaw in the goods. He ran to the buyer and said, “Take back your money—these dates are spoiled!” The man replied, “But you didn’t know!” Abdul-Rahman (RA) said, “Honesty is more valuable than gold.”
Legacy
He gave mountains of wealth as sadaqah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Abdul-Rahman is successful in this life and the next!”
